Brand-new XBOX 360 Core system not playing a brand-new XBOX 360 game?

I just bought a brand-new XBOX 360 core system and a brand-new Madden 360. They both worked the first time I played them, now the game won’t play. The screen is stuck on the intro page. Do I need to buy a memory chip or card? Any ideas why this is happening would be great. Thanks.

I would exchange the game disc for a new one. If you have other games then try them and if they also get stuck then you should see if you can exchange the 360 for a new one. If you can’t exchange it then you can call Microsoft and they will fix it for free.
A lot of people rag on the 360 mainly because they do not know how to take care of it. These basic problems can be avoided if the system is kept cool and horizontal. Also taking great care of you game disks is very important. Scratched game disks will not only cause the game to not work but they can also damage the 360. If you rent games, make sure the disks are not scratched up. If you follow these steps then your 360 will last for a very long time.
