PS3 move saved games onto new PS3?
I brought a new ps3 and want to move my saved games, so i read up that i could do it using an USB flash drive…which i have done, and i have moved them on to my new PS3….but when i go to play the game it says ‘unable to load data. this save data was not created by your Playstation network account or created on a different ps3 system’ ….the account on the new one is exactly the same as the old one…..what can i do to make it load??

it was the game saves….save points from ps3 games that i have brought in shops, so they are discs….lol excuse to replay the game?! there is no way i want to start from rank 1 online on call of duty 4 again lol…i cant survive without an ak47 with a grenade launcher lol…

Did you copy the Game Installs or the Game Saves?
the installs will only work on one system, to stop copying of PS Store games.
If its the gmae instalsl your copying over , then jsut log ont othe PS Store, go to the “Downlods” tab at hte top and it will list all the games, demos themes etc youve got with the account. you can re-downalod all of them upt o a max of 5 times.
However with Game Saves there may be simailr issues, some save files will become “Corrupted”, noramlly its jsut the fact they are tied to one partcialur system, though most should copy over normally. IF the gmae has a Trophy patch, then the game save may or may not copy correctly as hte save may have been made before hte trophy patch was applied. pre-trophy support saves wont work correctly wiht trophy patched games.
I suppose on the bright side you have an excuse to respaly the game again.
