Can you play original Xbox games on an Xbox 360 Elite?

Me and my brother have just purchased an Xbox 360 Elite and we still have a few original Xbox games that we would like to keep, but we sold our old Xbox a few months ago. So I wondered whether it would be possible for us to play them on an Xbox 360 Elite.

Yes and no. Some games work and some don’t.

Even the games that “work” don’t always work perfectly. Sometimes the games will play slower, graphics will be missing, they will crash more often, etc. But for the most part they will play fine.
