xbox 360, halo reach internet problems?

for some reason i cant join my friends costume games it says something about nat but i have no idea wat that is and its starting to get anoying. is there anyway to fix this??

Configure your router or modem to allow all incoming NAT connections.
If you have a netgear router you can change this and other settings at www.routerlogin.net.

You can always setup the game yourself and host it. If you and your friends often invest a large amount of time configuring the game type and then run into this issue I would suggest creating the game type, saving it, uploading to file share within Reach and then having your friends download the game type. This way you can load the game type fast and host without wasting time setting it up each play.
