Xbox 360 With Kinect

With the new xbox 360 kinect consoles, is there still a red ring of death chance?

I heard that with the newer models of the original xbox 360, they eliminated the RROD. Is that true? If not, has there been a problem noted about the new kinect xbox 360 console (the actual 360 itself, not the kinect)? I am looking to get one, but after the RROD problems, I’m not sure if I should get involved into the system yet.

The new xbox’s have the red ring of death removed from them. Instead they give you a warning that the xbox is overheating and will shut off after the warning. I have one of the new ones and had no problems.
